林鴻志醫師說呼吸道融合病毒RSV主要是透過飛沫傳染，對早產兒威脅大，病程進展快，嚴重時需要用正壓呼吸器，或插氣管內管住進加護病房。照顧者要勤洗手，避免出入人潮擁擠的場所，也可以幫嬰幼兒施打呼吸道融合病毒單株抗體，增加保護力，以免把病毒帶給嬰幼兒。
