本則訊息為2023年起開始流通的不實簡訊。台灣自來水公司網站公告訊息(2023/11/07)提醒，民眾收到可疑的水費催繳簡訊，點擊連結後會開啟幾可亂真的偽造網站，台水強調發送催繳簡訊時，不會提供任何連結，亦不會要求用戶線上提供信用卡資料或匯款。
