勞動部目前尚無提出新的勞保年金改革草案！2017年的年改進度，也已經因「立法院屆期不連續」而歸零。

1. 由於勞保若維持現行費率及給付制度，可能將於2026年破產，勞動部部長許銘春表示，今年上半年，將邀請專家學者舉辦工作坊，繼續研議相關改革方案。

2. 國外年金制度，「平均月投保薪資」多採計「終身」或至少「25年平均」，台灣目前採最高60個月平均實在偏低。因此，2017年的勞保年改草案中，採「漸進式調整」，並非一下就從5年上調至15年，而是從實施第2年始逐年延長12個月。
