經查：
大家看一下，這個插卡器....直接可以往（插卡處）上面套的，肉眼基本上根本看不出來。然後這個...這個攝像頭...錄客戶信息跟密碼的...（安裝在按鍵處上方）套上去之後不仔細看根本看不出來....從上面看的話看不到...所以大家一定要小心啊！插卡之前一定要看一下。

影片中的犯罪手法，是在ATM的插卡處、輸入密碼處裝設裝置，取得提款卡的磁條資料和密碼，再透過製造偽卡來盜取被害人的銀行存款。財金公司指出，目前台灣提款卡已晶片化，晶片無法透過機器側錄，因此這種犯罪手法現在在台灣發生的機率非常低。
