Google公關張聿嵐指出，90%以上被盜刷的狀況是消費者的Google帳號跟密碼外洩，尤其是沒有完成兩階段認證的使用者。若消費者確實被盜刷可以透過信用卡發卡銀行或是電信業者退費，至於消費者要求提供侵入者的資訊，該公司無法提供給被害者，但若是進入司法程序會依法配合。
