豬肉的肥肉與瘦肉比例，與豬隻品種、飼養時間、飼料營養、豬肉的部位等多種因素有關，一般民眾很難只靠肥肉的厚度，就知道是否有瘦肉精，最好還是要靠檢測才知道。
