陳時親自到疾管署記者室說明首批莫德納疫苗約15萬劑將於台灣時間2021年5月28日凌晨自盧森堡啟運，預計28日下午3時50分運抵桃園機場，本批疫苗是供應商承諾供應的一部分。陳時中說，這次運抵台灣的莫德納疫苗為多劑型包裝，每瓶10人份，抵台完成通關程序後，將儘速運送至指定冷儲物流中心進行檢驗封緘作業，強調該做的檢驗還是要做，但應該不會太久，畢竟事先準備作業都已經做好，可望於2週內完成檢驗封緘，開放施打。
