實際到FlightAware網站上查詢，N705CK航班1/27~1/29確實沒有在中國無錫降落的資料，也確實有一點資訊籌措防疫物資，包機送到武漢的消息。

根據飛機的註冊代碼 N705CK，很容易可以從公開的管道查到，這台飛機是從美國密西根州起飛後，中轉阿拉斯加加油後抵達首爾，於 1 月 28 日，「直接」從首爾飛抵武漢，根本沒有在無錫降落。

这个谣言之所以会出现“从芝加哥起飞”、“在无锡卸下救援物资”等信息点，是因为就在美国那架撤侨飞机飞抵武汉的当天，无锡机场确实也迎来了一架从美国飞来的货机，那货机上也确实装载着从美国邮寄来的“防疫物资”。

这架来到无锡的货机，与美国撤侨的那架货机虽然同属美国卡利塔航工公司，却根本不是同一架飞机。其机上的物资，也不是美国政府提供的，而是美国的华人华侨、留学生和中国企业“一点资讯”筹集而来。
