目前仍無證據證明新冠肺炎可透過空氣傳播，日本環境感染學會提供的新冠肺炎相關宣導也未提供如圖中的自我判斷標準。
有疑似病徵應撥 1922 專線諮詢，遵從防疫人員指示，做足防護後就醫診斷，就醫時亦應主動告知疑似病徵與相關接觸史。
