根據蘋果日報報導,辨別假酒有多種方法,葡萄酒專欄作家劉善農教授4步驟。第一、看酒色:酒倒入杯後,傾斜酒杯觀察酒色,從外圈到內圍,酒色應由淺到深,從紫色、紅色到黑色,劣酒會比較扁平沒有層次,甚至混濁。第二、聞酒香:正常應有果香,劣酒則有口香糖、糖果等人工香料味。第三、品酒味:喝不到聞到的香氣,例如聞到草莓味卻無草莓口感,就可能添加草莓香精,以及甜味喝起來讓喉嚨有黏膩感。第四、酒入喉之後,口中會感覺到香氣和喉韻,跟聞到的香氣是不謀而合的。

影片中使用食鹽水與小蘇打水的辨別方法並無法適用於所有酒類。
