衛福部已澄清，政府「不會」因年齡就補助，而是依照失能狀況或身障者需求評估，符合條件才能申請補助。並呼籲民眾勿再轉傳此則訊息，若針對社會福利有諮詢需求、想確認相關申請條件，皆可撥打1957福利諮詢專線詢問。
