亞東醫院發出聲明強調，所有醫護同仁初步篩檢皆為陰性，將於2021/05/17進行第二次PCR。
於5月10日由急診收治一名新北市居民，住院後於12日開始發燒，13日詢問家屬得知病人曾出入萬華茶藝館，立即進行PCR篩檢，14日確診為陽性個案，立即將該個案轉入負壓隔離病房，擴大採檢同病房病患與接觸照顧者。目前累積已有7位陽性個案。
