從2021年 6 月 1 日起，用戶上傳到 Google 相簿的所有高畫質照片與影片，都將計入個人免費享有的 15GB 配額，或以 Google One 會員身分額外購買的儲存空間，而在 2021 年 6 月 1 日前備份的所有高畫質照片與影片一概不列入計算。特別的是，若使用的是 Google Pixel 第 1 代至第 5 代，從這些手機上傳的高畫質照片與影片不受影響。

Google 於昨日公佈了他們新的雲端政策，引起眾人一陣喧譁。

目前為止，每個人 Google 帳號的免費雲端空間是 15GB，包含信箱、文件、試算表、以及相片等。其中，若你在 Google 相簿中上傳相片時，選擇「高畫質儲存」（相片會經過壓縮再上傳，大於 1600 萬像素的相片將會調整為 1600 萬像素），你就可以享有無限的儲存空間；若選擇「原始畫質儲存」，就會佔掉免費的 15GB 空間。
另外，小編剛剛也發現，原本 Google 與許多台灣大學合作的 G Suite 教育版也調整了容量上限，原是無限容量的雲端空間已下修成 5TB。
除了針對儲存空間的政策調整，Google 也表示將會對 2 年內無活動的帳號內容（相簿、信箱、雲端），刪除帳戶內的檔案，政策一樣從明年 6 月 1 日開始。
