警方私下表示，反剝奪團體並沒有阻擋外國選手進場之事，實際情形是：
下午開始在世大運周邊有太多抗議，載送選手的遊覽車一路交通順遂，但在到達場館周邊時，映入選手眼簾的都是拒馬，鐵絲網，抗議聲，喇叭鳴笛聲不斷，因此主動向主辦單位表達不敢入場進行繞場一周。
