坊間對於加工蛋品有許多謠言，從皮蛋是馬尿做的，到茶葉蛋蛋黃成灰綠色代表有重金屬殘留等，其實都是誤解。且在正常均衡飲食的情況下，即使皮蛋與鹹蛋口味重，也不至於對健康有太大影響。
