根據京東方官方提供的新聞稿，該公司已在成都建立第六代可撓式面板生產線，採用蒸鍍生產技術。但文章末尾表示為超越三星的頂級螢幕，此方面有待公評，依據目前市場調查三星仍佔amoled螢幕市場近九成的市佔，而且三星生產的可撓式屏幕已運用於多款手機，包括Samsung S7,S8,Note 8, iPhone X等等，京東方之產品目前無實績。
