甘地倫敦求學趣聞

當年甘地在倫敦大學讀法律系時，一位名叫彼得的白人教授，極端地討厭他。

有一天，當彼得教授在飯堂吃午餐時，甘地拿著他的盤子坐在他的隔鄰。

教授說：「甘地先生，你不了解 “一頭豬和一隻鳥是不會坐在一起吃東西的。”」

甘地以一個父母對一個粗魯無禮孩子的眼光看着他，然後平靜地答覆：「教授，你不用擔憂，我將會飛離開。」，接著他坐到另一張桌子去了。

彼得憤怒得通面變紅，決定採取行動報仇。

第二天，他在班裏發問：「甘地先生，如果你沿著街道步行時發現了一個包裹， 裡面有一袋智慧和另一袋金錢，你會拿哪一袋？ 」

甘地豪不猶豫地回答了：「當然拿有金錢的那一袋！」
