農業局長吳芳銘指出，阿拉伯聯合大公國由阿布達比、杜拜、沙迦、阿吉曼、富吉拉、歐姆古、哈伊馬角七個酋長國組成的聯邦君主國，這裡農產業的結構主要仰賴進口，每年進口的水果產值高達20億美金，水果也大多沒有關稅，因此，高雄市持續耕耘阿拉伯聯合大公國及鄰近區域的市場。
