現行法規持遺眷家戶代表證至榮民總醫院及所屬分院可減免掛號費，持遺眷家戶代表證之無職遺眷全額補助健保費。

各位榮民、榮眷請千萬注意，蔡英文政府對健保署偷偷下達指示，榮民及榮眷去榮總看醫、取藥開始要付錢，朋友媽媽今天去關渡榮總回診，去批價時，一條藥膏開價250$，就算不是榮民、榮眷，健保身份一條原本也才70$左右(價差太多)。
還好老媽算的精，再回門診室問護理師查驗，結果確實是只要榮民、榮眷身份還是不用付錢，但告知去批價後，這條藥膏用完需要要再去批價申請(這還可以理解，不要爛用藥物，浪費健保資源)，以前是直接開慢性處方籤，現已偷偷在變，請榮民、榮眷傳給大家，蔡英文政府執政的健保署已變相對榮民、榮眷趕盡殺絕，去看病時，記得批價時要特別注意。
