中選會指出，開票當天屏東縣主要候選人均有推派監察員，且監察員回報各投開票所計票結果亦與本會計票結果相符，中選會及地方選委會也確認各投開票所，主要候選人也都有推薦監察員依法監票，並回傳至各該主要候選人競選總部。
