臺北市政府警察局內湖分局文德派出所日前受理龔姓民眾報案，渠表示於網路上點選股票相關訊息，立即被加入投資股票群組，群內有「理財老師」、「助理」出現，謊稱自己有管道配合知名投顧公司，同時還設計一款假的投資APP，讓民眾誤信可以搭上投顧龐大資金列車，以低點價格買入再以高點價格賣出獲利。民眾投資應循正常管道，以免血汗錢遭騙。
