假的，美國疾病管制與預防中心（CDC）解釋接種新冠疫苗可以降低死亡機率，比直接感染新冠病毒安全許多；英國國民保健署（NHS）提到接種疫苗可以阻止病毒傳播，保護其他人不受到傳染；德國聯邦衛生部（Bundesministerium für Gesundheit）提到雖然疫苗不能提供百分之百的保護，但是感染後重症機率會比未接種疫苗的人小很多。
