「有集團深入原住民地區抓落單的或說我們是愛心人士」而進行犯罪並非事實，目前2022年8月台灣警方並沒有誘拐原住民兒童公開的警方通報，而上車誘拐兒童新個案在中國已被澄清是不實訊息，除了修改過去謠言的可能，建議不論族群年齡，都注意陌生人與綁架誘拐事件。
