1. 在中醫的角度上,「迎香穴」對部分呼吸道症狀確實有預防作用,可降低鼻炎發作機率,但實際效果因人而異。

2. 沿著鼻翼外緣往上按摩,則可到達同樣能緩解鼻子不適的「鼻通穴」(位於和鼻軟骨的交界點),於穴道處可約停留1秒鐘,按到略有痠脹的感覺。每次按揉穴道10秒鐘便需休息5秒鐘。
