研究顯示，暴露在燃香環境中的嬰兒，粗動作的發展會出現遲緩情形，若是家中一年四季都在燒香，寶寶扶東西行走的遲緩風險會比沒有暴露的孩子高出44%；若是逢年過節才燒香的家庭，寶寶遲緩風險則為26%。
