五糧液是產自宜賓的名酒，宜賓機場將從宜賓市翠屏區菜壩鎮遷至宜賓市西北11公里處的翠屏區宗場鄉進行重新修建，並命名為「宜賓五糧液機場」。有可能是五糧液集團贊助機場建設，以此獲得冠名權；而政府部分則意在推廣企業，做大地方品牌。至於後方的文句為網路笑話，實際上命名的原因並沒有公開。
