國民黨與新黨指控，楊蕙如的網軍上線就是民進黨，並點名立委黃國書前助理湯文馨為楊網軍的指揮者，黃國書澄清，外交官事件發生在2018年9月，湯文馨早在2018年1月就已從他辦公室離職，黃說，前助理離職之後他無從干涉做什麼事。對於國民黨、新黨的惡意攻擊，將不排除提告。
