全台首樁Delta變種病毒本土案例，屏東縣政府2021年6月24日起就在枋山設篩檢站篩檢，並強制枋山鄉楓港村和善餘村2村村民進行篩檢，並禁止商店及菜市場營業3天進行大消毒，同時，在枋山鄉設前進指揮所，縣府也設立因應變種病毒防疫小組，全力防堵傳播鏈。
