許多確診的人在康復後又再度感染，科學家使用病毒基因序定序，皆可證明患者感染了兩次，因為病毒株並不相同。無論是染疫後，自體產生的免疫力，還是打了疫苗，利用疫苗產生的免疫，都是防範病毒不要更嚴重的關鍵。
