疾管署說明，近期國內新增之麻疹個案均非醫事人員，且亦無上述之群聚事件。對於各項傳染病疫情資訊，疾管署均會透明公開公布於官網，供各界查詢瞭解。依據傳染病防治法第63條規定，散布傳染病疫情相關謠言或傳播不實疫情消息，足以損害公眾或他人者，最高可科新台幣五十萬元罰金，及依社會秩序維護法第63條第5款規定，散佈謠言足以影響公共安寧者，得處三日以下拘留或新台幣三萬元以下罰鍰。
