一、此部影片於2013年1月3日就由YouTube頻道「mediabyjj」上傳，並表示使用煙火動畫製作網站「FWSim」製成，並不是真實的煙火畫面。 二、此部影片也曾以「中國湖南省2013年跨年煙火」、「印度孟買煙火」等版本流傳，已被美國及印度事實查核組織評為不實訊息。 網傳影片挪用舊畫面，宣稱為「2020東京奧運煙火」，因此，為「錯誤」訊息。
