食藥署提醒民眾，目前醫學研究針對新型冠狀病毒之特性仍未完全瞭解，在沒有確切的科學實質證據論述基礎下，對於「紅茶或普洱茶，可以抵抗新型冠狀病毒、增加免疫力之偏方」傳聞，應該抱持小心謹慎的態度，不要隨便輕易相信，也避免再轉傳親朋好友。
