根據美國食品藥物管理署 (FDA) 於2020年3月對欣流藥物提出黑盒警示 (Black Boxed Warning)，針對此藥已知之情緒相關副作用提出警訊，包括像是出現敵意、憂鬱、睡眠障礙、失眠、夢遊、自殺傾向或行為等，亦不建議以欣流作為過敏性鼻炎患者的第一線治療藥物。
