低鈉健康鹽會有微量的輻射，主要是其中添加的氯化鉀天然結晶，本身就有天然的微量輻射，而原能委員會同時把有添加氯化鉀的日本與智利的鹽品送檢，其輻射都高於台鹽的產品，顯見這並非只有台鹽添加物有微量輻射。
