疾管署發言人曾淑慧表示，麻疹為高傳染性疾病，麻疹症狀為發燒、鼻炎、紅疹、結膜炎、咳嗽，曾淑慧提醒相關接觸者，出入公共場所應戴口罩，避免接觸抵抗力較弱的嬰兒及孕婦，如有症狀，不建議自行就醫，應先通知衛生局安排好動線，再前往醫療院所。
