TOYOTA RAV4 HYBRID並無自動駕駛功能，僅有ACC全速域主動式車距維持定速系統、LTA 車道循跡輔助系統等輔助系統，所幸駕駛打瞌睡時並無突發狀況才不致發生事故。即便車輛有輔助駕駛系統，如果雙手離開方向盤或是以其他危險方式駕車仍有可能被開罰。
