因應新冠肺炎疫情所帶來的影響，勞動部針對先前所推出的「全時」及「部分工時」受僱勞工生活補貼1萬元措施，擴大將「依法不得參加就業保險之中高齡再就業者」、以及「7月份薪資受影響的全時受僱勞工」納入補貼對象。勞動部勞動條件及就業平等司司長黃維琛進一步補充，前者約有5萬7000人符合資格，後者則約有20萬人受惠。
