萊克多巴胺是一種動物飼料添加物，功能為增加家畜家禽的瘦肉比例、降低脂肪比例及減少飼料用量，俗稱瘦肉精，不是毒。攝取過量萊克多巴胺，會有心血管上的副作用，不過依照台大教授孫璐西之前的計算，以牛肉為例，除非民眾一天內食用超過500公斤牛肉，不然萊克多巴胺不會傷害到人體。
