校方發表聲明表示，事發後隨即邀集雙方學生及家長和警方到場，經過審慎處理後，強調事發發當下，已經依規定秉公處理了，絕不會像外界所傳息事寧人。同時校方和學生家長也懇求影片不要再流傳，不要造成學生的二次傷害並請多支持學校，也給予犯錯學生改過的機會。
