金門、馬祖人赴美旅遊，直接持中華民國台灣護照，在官網上申請 ESTA 即可。網傳「由美國駐香港總領事館發（簽證）」是錯的，金馬地區民眾的權益和待遇，和台灣其他地區居民沒有不同。
