環保局強調，有新鮮空氣流通的室內，可有效排出室內污染物，將大幅降低交互感染的機會及減少醫療成本，所以提醒長時間待在室內的民眾，注意室內空氣品質，同時也可利用電風扇或循環扇降低冷氣機負擔，達到節省效率、幫助室內空氣流通的目的。
