根據「國立臺灣大學計算機及資訊網路中心校友電子郵件服務管理辦法」中之第七條：
「電子郵件信箱超過半年未使用，帳號將自動停用。停用後半年內未申請復原，帳號將自動移除。」
可知台大電子郵件信箱久未使用即會被停用與移除。
