指揮中心回應，目前沒有足夠證據證實乙酰半胱氨酸(NAC)針對重症或死亡有明確效益，NAC 就是乙醯半胱氨酸（Acetylcysteine），兒童常用橘子口味的化痰藥粉，針對咳嗽的兒童，平常已經在使用了，但論文在實證醫學的效力不足。
