台中市衛生局長曾梓展表示，男子在居家檢疫期間違規外出，將依照中央疫情指揮中心的裁罰規定計算外出次數、停留的時數，聽取男子的陳述後，將依嚴重特殊傳染性肺炎防治及紓困振興特別條例規定，處新台幣10萬至100萬元罰鍰，至少重罰50萬元以上，絕不寬貸。
