這是 2019 年就發生的影片，當時警方臨檢盤查身份時，發現並非通緝犯便隨即釋放，該名男子也與 FBI 無關。當時警員在市區進行臨檢追查通緝犯，由於現場發現身高、體重、年齡相近的人，於是上前確認其身份，後來發現該名男子並非要找的人，於是當場就釋放，與社群流傳的影片說法有落差。
