此篇敘述為誤導。非「贈予」海地1.5億美金，而是「貸款」給海地1.５億美金。
過去台灣也曾貸款給海地，網路上有有部分文章稱之為有所成效。但也有許多投資海地政府出問題的資訊。
此貸款是否為有效之貸款還需要人民持續監督與關注。
