自從SARS開始肆虐以來，許許多多人對搭飛機產生了疑慮，所疑慮的是機艙中的空氣，諸如：飛機上的空氣從那裡來？是不是直接吸進飛機外面的空氣？是不是固定量的空氣不斷在密閉的空間循環？ 身為航空公司的工作人員，深覺得有義務將這「空氣」大事說清楚、講明白，以解除旅客們心中「大礙」。我們希望旅客都能安心的飛行！

美國CDC曾建議一般辦公建築物換氣率為每小時1-2.5次。但雖然機艙空氣是如此處理， COVID-19、武漢肺炎仍可能透過近距離飛沫傳染，疫情期間搭飛機建議戴口罩。
