行政院發言人羅秉成今天表示，政府將發函授權台積電與鴻海永齡基金會代表政府洽談購買各500萬劑BNT德國原廠疫苗，直接送抵台灣捐贈給政府。

這1000萬劑疫苗交貨期，將配合台灣國際疫苗採購交貨情形與原廠產能商定；另外台積電與鴻海永齡基金會捐贈給政府的疫苗，將循日本提供台灣疫苗的前例，以及國際採購合約作法，會在捐贈契約中，政府將給予製造商免責聲明也承擔後續工作。
