根據蘋果仁文章、新聞報導及實際測試顯示，WeChat僅有啟用綁定臉書帳號的功能，但已啟用不代表已綁定，另外就技術而言WeChat不可能自動綁定臉書，多是用戶自行綁定但已忘記此事。
