此為臺中市立后里國民中學所發布之訊息，查台中市政府環境保護局資源回收網，確實有針對一般家戶和60戶以上大型社區之生廚餘分別訂定回收辦法。

生廚餘收運方式：
(一) 60戶以下社區及沿街家戶(含非事業單位的小吃店)交付沿街垃圾車(後方加掛生熟廚餘回收桶)。
(二) 達60戶以上社區可至環保局資源回收網 (http://recycle.epb.taichung.gov.tw/recalltube/recalltube_06.asp)申請生廚餘回收桶，並洽當地清潔隊放置。
